Making Tax Digital for private landlords and the self employed is coming and will be mandatory from 6th April 2026 if your turnover (that's the money you take in sales/rent) is over £50,000. From 6th April 2027 that threshold will be £30,000 and then the following year £20,000, so keep an eye on your income
